A village looking out to sea.
San Foca is one of Melendugno’s coastal villages, between Torre Specchia Ruggeri and Roca Vecchia. Around its harbour, the village retains its connection with fishing. Its coastal tower, built in the 16th century, belonged to a lookout network that communicated with fire and smoke.
A line of boats, a mooring rope, a shifting reflection: the harbour invites the eye to follow the movement of water. At this stop chosen by Pascal, the gaze moves from the clear outlines of stone to the sea’s ever-changing curves.
