Stone and the poetry of water
THE MEMORY OF A PLACE
On the Melendugno coast, Roca Vecchia combines an archaeological site with the Poesia caves. The cavities were formed by karst processes. Inscriptions discovered in the Poesia Piccola also bear witness to the sacred role of this place in antiquity.
Stone frames the water like a form hollowed out to hold the light. Colours change with the angle of view. Pascal chose this stop where the presence of the material and the depth of the blue answer one another.

AN ECHO IN THE CREATION
In our journal, Pietra’s volumes enter into a dialogue with the rock of Roca Vecchia. Gold gives the jewel its presence; white diamonds add points of light. It is an encounter between material and reflection.
A rounded surface, an outline, a transition between volumes: the design is read in the details. Proportions and finishing give the jewel its softness while retaining the character of its form.
