Centuries of images and horizons.
Otranto Cathedral, built in the late 11th century, houses a remarkable mosaic floor. Created by Pantaleone between 1163 and 1165, it unfolds a vast visual narrative across the nave, transept and apse. The place is a reminder of how forms and symbols can endure through time.
Outside, the Adriatic draws the eye back towards the open sea. Between the memory of stone and the expanse of water, Otranto invites you to see travel as a part of yourself, kept long after you return.
