THE MEMORY OF A PLACE

Stone transformed into lace.

Lecce retains traces of Roman times, but its best-known appearance blossomed in the 17th century with the local Baroque style. The Basilica of Santa Croce and Piazza del Duomo reveal its richness: columns, rose windows and sculpted façades create a landscape where stone seems to come alive.

Here, light does more than illuminate. It traces an edge, passes through an opening and reveals a new shadow. A change of position is enough for the same detail to tell a different story.

AN ECHO IN THE CREATION

Quadro. Architecture close to the skin.

Quadro speaks to Lecce through lines and spaces. Its geometric design lets light circulate between the gem-set sections. The richly detailed façades find an answer in a more restrained composition, whose balance reveals itself from every angle.

The eye moves from the outline to the diamond, then back to the space between them. This rhythm gives the jewel its presence. In Pascal’s creations, sensitive design and attention to proportion bring lightness to precious materials.

PASCAL CISTERNINO · THE DESIGNER’S EYE

An Italian sensibility.
French craftsmanship.

Of Italian origin, Pascal grew up in Lyon in a family of jewellers. Like his brothers, he became a jeweller and stone setter, learning precision, a commitment to quality and a love of gemstones.

His design carries this dual heritage: freedom of line and the Italian art of living, combined with French jewellery craftsmanship. With Ateliers GEM, in the Lyon region, this family story accompanies the Maison’s creations.

In Lecce, golden stone, sculpted façades and light nourish his eye. A curve, a proportion, a sparkle: through his jewellery, Pascal shares his love of beauty and a particular way of living with precious things.
